In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, DCMA created a 15 Day Mindfulness Challenge to encourage all employees to commit to taking a moment for themselves & their mental health.
From May 17th through May 31st, DCMA employees were challenged to complete a mindfulness exercise such as practicing yoga and/or meditation, reflecting & journaling, connecting with nature, listening to a mindfulness podcast, and/or completing a physical activity. We also created a blog that included resources to help manage stress and refocus on the present while staying connected with one another throughout the process.
As this challenge nears its conclusion, we hope every employee was able to reap all the benefits of practicing mindfulness in its many forms.
