Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the Fixed Income Trading Desk, which includes the, Treasury, Agency, Mortgages, and Repo desks.  Specifically acting as a liaison between the front office trading desk and the Operations, Accounting and Risk departments. Functions include processing all Federal Auction and Coupon Purchase/Sell processes, locate and resolve any FICC trade breaks, create and distribute the Daily P&L Fixed Income Report, and balance positions between Bloomberg and Phase 3.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review and Resolve FICC trading issues. (Breaks)
  • Oversee the daily Treasury Auctions and Coupon Purchase/Sell processes
  • Create and distribute the daily Fixed Income P&L report.
  • Balance/reconcile all Fixed Income trading future positions between GMI and Bloomberg.
  • Balance/reconcile all Fixed Income Traders’ positions between Bloomberg and Phase 3.
  • Support the trading desk by acting as a liaison between Accounting, Settlements, counterparties, and IT on daily trading issues, such as fails, P&L issues, confirmations, trade allocations, and voice trade data input.

 Position Qualifications:

  • Potential Candidates should have a background in all Fixed Income products, including knowledge of US Treasury products and MBS products TBAs/Pools/CMOs)
  • Knowledge and experience of MBS allocations, Treasury auctions and the Bloomberg trading system is a plus
  • Effective communication skills to liaise between multiple groups
  • 5 years experience in a fixed income product related field, MBS experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Ability to multi-task in a high pressured work environment
  • Series 7 a plus

$80,000 – $100,000

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and effective delivery of the dedicated Global Mobility services and activities to DCMA and its affiliates’ stakeholders and serve as a liaison with HR teams in the US and Tokyo, Department Heads and external vendors. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in the creation and improvement of processes and workflows as well as general HR operations with a strong understanding of HRIS, optimization and integration of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process gross-up payroll for regular pay, allowances, special awards and miscellaneous expenses for international assignees working closely with outside global mobility consulting/accounting firm
  • Administer end to end HR employee lifecycle processes including but not limited to international assignment/employment offer/localization management, immigration, pre-employment screening, on-boarding, HR letters, HRIS data maintenance, payroll instructions, and etc.
  • Work closely with external tax service provider in relations to gross up calculation, yearend reconciliation, and tax return preparation
  • Processes ledger, booking, journal entry, and year-end adjustment
  • Support relocation of international assignees (and family where applicable), working closely with external service providers
  • Maintain employee data related to home office, tax offices, and external service providers, championing data integrity and utilizing the system to its full capability
  • Responsible for document management, ensuring that all required documentation is filed/scanned accordingly to employee personnel records
  • Liaise effectively among assignees, local employees, and business leaders
  • Counsel on a broad range of global mobility topics such as payroll, benefits, taxes, immigration and relocation
  • Ensure Global Mobility operations are optimized and have the ability to adapt new ideas and trends
  • Actively support Global Mobility and wider HR team in various HR projects, providing operations input
  • Provide support for preparation/processing of home staff payroll and associated administration

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Approximately of 5-7 years of relevant experience in HR/Global Mobility, with an understanding of international business operations
  • Specific experience with payroll and tax of international assignment programs
  • HRIS management and ability to fully utilize technology resources
  • Excellent communication skills with employees at all levels
  • Bilingual Japanese preferred

Qualifications

  4. Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets
